Andrew Francis Zunno
Songwriter and Instrumental Artist
Andrew grew up learning and playing many instruments from the guitar, piano, clarinet, and bass.  He is a self taught musician.  At the age of 16 he began to perform in clubs and concert halls as a soloist (guitar and piano) and with many bands (playing guitar, keyboards, slide guitar, and bass). He has performed in many New York City venues such as the China Club, Tramps, The Bitter End, and the Back Fence (as a soloist).

Now after a career on stage, his passion has moved behind the band, writing songs for other musicians, lyricists, film, and television producers.

His music has been recently played on "Extreme MakeOver Home Edition".

Andrew entered the 12th annual Great American Songwriting Contest in December of 2010 and his song, "It's Summertime", finished as a finalist in the instrumental category.  There were 1600 contestants from 40 countries that entered and he finished 14th in the Instrumental category.

Andrew started playing clarinet at 8 and enjoyed it very much as kid, but it wasn’t until he first picked up the guitar at 15 and joined his first band six months later as the lead guitarist that he found something he was very passionate about and still is today.

He graduated with a Bachelors degree from the State University of New York at Fredonia with a major in business and music. It was there he studied music theory and the history of the Baroque, Classical, Romantic, and Impressionistic composers.

He credits the incredibly talented musicians he works with that give his songs such life and for that he is extremely grateful.  At this point in his musical career he just enjoys writing, recording, and playing with great musicians and most importantly being around good people who play music because they love it.
